1. Wash hair and dry.

2. Apply generous amounts of gel or mousse throughout hair.

3. Curl hair in 2-inch sections, misting each section with hairspray before clamping the iron. The smaller the sections you curl, the better they'll hold.

4. Loosen waves by running fingers through hair. Mist head with hairspray and wear a hat.

5. Let the end of your ponytail flow on one side.
